Mr. Emmanuel Kwadwo Odefour Gemegah, a father of two sons — Jedidiah Kwabena Nyameso Gemegah and Jeremiah Yaw Odefour Gemegah — was born in Accra on December 31st, 1973, to Mr. John Mensah Gemegah and Madam Mary Akosua Tiwah Brenya.
He began his early education at the University of Science & Technology Nursery School and University Primary School in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. After sitting and passing the Common Entrance Examination organised by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) in 1987, he was admitted to one of Ghana's premier high schools — Prempeh College — to pursue a science program.
He passed his GCE Ordinary Level in 1993 and proceeded to take Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at the Advanced Level (GCE A'Level) in 1995, which he passed with distinction. He was then admitted to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) in 1999 to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, graduating in June 2003.
Following his graduation, Mr. Odefour Gemegah left Ghana to further his education in the United States, arriving at O'Hare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois on November 11th, 2003. He attended the American Society of Quality (ASQ) Certification program at Harper College in Algonquin, Illinois, where he received certifications in Blueprint Reading, Metrology, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Mr. Odefour Gemegah is an accomplished Aerospace Engineer who programs Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) at an aerospace manufacturing company in Illinois. His career has spanned multiple high-precision industries including Aerospace, Aviation, Space, Defence & Military, Automotive, Appliance, and Renewable Energy.
He has contributed to projects for some of the world's most recognised corporations, including General Electric (GE), Caterpillar, John Deere, Ford Motor Company, General Motors (GM), Mack & Volvo, Frigidaire, Whirlpool, Siemens, Harley-Davidson, Cummins, Ashot, and many more.
Beyond engineering, Mr. Odefour Gemegah is a driven entrepreneur with several businesses in Ghana, West Africa. Odefour Group Gh, established in 2018, is his holding company comprising a diverse portfolio of ventures:
